Go into the arts. I’m not kidding. The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven’s sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something. Kurt Vonnegut (via tat-art)

The hardest thing about coming home after a trip is keeping that state of mind you had once abroad. For example when you promise yourself you need to save up to live another great experience and when you get home you just get back to this routine and end up spending your savings on useless stuff. I’m working on it. Spain and Brasil you’re next.

I love my adventurous side, i love that voice in my head that calm my mind when i fear something, that voice that’s like “let’s do it,for the sake of being able to say ‘yes i did that, done that by myself’ afterward”. I love being able to say that i’ve been in europe’s biggest cities by myself. I love getting to know myself more. I love having all these crazy stories about my trips. It changed me for sure and i keep on wanting more and more experiences like this. New perspective.
